Report: Apple Plans to Introduce AI-Powered Siri Search in 2026

Apple to launch AI search for Siri in 2026: Report

Apple is working on a search engine driven by AI. According to Bloomberg, it will make its debut next spring as part of a long-awaited Siri upgrade and is internally referred to as World Knowledge Answers.

The objective is to turn Siri into a “answer engine” that retrieves data from the internet in a manner akin to Perplexity, ChatGPT, and Google’s AI Overviews.
The improvement. It will go far beyond the fact-checking that Siri does now. The summaries produced by Apple’s new technology will combine text, photos, video, and local findings.

To give Apple more traction in daily search, the company intends to expand it to Safari and Spotlight.
behind the scenes. Apple’s new search experience will be partially based on Google’s Gemini AI algorithm.

Large language models (LLMs) are the foundation of Siri’s redesign, which also incorporates a new planner and summarizer to improve the accuracy and conversationality of responses.
Apple is currently integrating the search into Siri and other essential iOS functions, but it did explore releasing a stand-alone chatbot-style software.

Why we are concerned. Apple’s foray into AI search may change how iPhones process billions of requests. Google rankings won’t be the only factor affecting brand and business visibility; Apple’s AI algorithms’ ability to uncover and condense your material in voice and online responses will also play a role.
